• You need a laptop or desktop PC with a broadband connection. 
• You download and install free viewing software.
• Once you subscribe to our Slingbox service you can then log in to your Slingbox
• Choose a channel, and start watching live British TV, anywhere in the world.
• Buy a compatible hard drive DVR from us, which is also housed here alongside your Slingbox, and record for viewing later.
• Before you subscribe you get a free trial to check that your broadband service is adequate - just email here for the trial.

When you sign up for Slingservice you buy a Slingbox, which resides in our data centre, connected to our outgoing broadband lines. 

For a monthly subscription, which we will charge to your credit card, you receive unlimited access to all the Freeview channels on our list, anywhere in the world. The subscription is £59/month, for a minimum of 3 months. The first two payments are used for you to purchase your Slingbox. VAT is included for customers within the EU. If you buy a DVR we host that for you for £10/month.

To order the Slingbox service download this Order Form and fax the completed form to us on +44 1252 459003, or mail it to the address on the form. We will advise you of the estimated activation date of your Slingbox service, and we will not charge your first month’s subscription until that time.

TV Licenses
In the UK, you need to be covered by a valid television licence to use any device to receive television programme services as they are being broadcast or distributed. If you do so from outside the home you need to ensure you are adequately licensed for the location at which you are ultimately viewing the programmes.

UK TV Licenses are not required by customers viewing outside the UK, as the transmissions fall under our UK License.
